Mobile Patrol Officer

Responsibilities - responsible for controlling access to client facilities by ensuring positive personal identification of individuals requesting entry. Conducts vehicular patrols of the ground, parking lots, garages, cartilages and adjoining public areas and promptly reports unsafe or prohibited conditions, procedures or activities. Has the authority to arrest detain, or enforce laws as granted by the relevant state or municipal authorities. This position requires maturity, good judgment and good interpersonal skills. Must pass the government background investigation, be of sound judgment and be able to work independently. Additionally, he or she must be certified in CPR and First Aid.

Duties also include - Supervise all security personnel assigned to his or her shift; inspection of officers to ensuring effective security coverage; responding to service and alarm calls; investigation of incidents; preparing incident reports; implementing shift and general orders; communicating effectively with public;

Additional Duties also include - being prepared to assume responsibilities of armed guard or access officer for short-term periods when requested.

Training/Education Required - Associates Degree in related discipline plus 2 years in security field including supervisory experience. Must meet all Armed Guard Officer requirements. Posses Certification of graduation from military of federal law enforcement academy. Must successfully complete the Mobile Patrol Officer Class and be certified at 80%.
