Executive Protection Specialist II (Detail Leader)

Responsibilities - a Detail Leader supervises and directs all aspects of an entire protective detail. All Executive Protection Specialist report directly to him or her. A Detail Leader must possess all the requisite experience of Executive Protection Specialist. Must be mature and of sound judgment, possess good interpersonal skills, and have experience operating both domestically and abroad. Responsible for all aspects of organization, management, and supervision of detail operations. He or she must ensure that all executive protection specialists are properly equipped, well briefed and prepared for their assignment(s). A Detail Leader approves all survey reports, security, and contingency plans. The Detail Leader is the ultimate authority on all personnel issues and security arrangements.

Training/Education Required - A 4-year college degree plus certification of executive protection training either from the US Government, the military or a state-certified Executive Protection Training Academy; or an Associates Degree and 7 years executive protection experience plus 9 years law enforcement or military experience and the requisite executive protection training.

Years and Type of Experience required - 7 years of executive protection experience plus 9 years of law enforcement, military or security experience. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
